About Dr. Ruby John

Ruby Samuel John, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. Dr. John received her medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her residency at Rutgers NJ Medical School in Newark, NJ, earning the Most Humanistic award (2009). She was Chief Resident and remained an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University Hospital until 2011. For the past ten years, she worked at the Primary Care Clinic of North Texas, a non-profit organization, providing quality care to the uninsured. She was recognized at the Lone Star Cares Fundraising Gala with the Care and Compassion Award (2014). Dr. John takes the time to listen to her patients, which she feels is the key to building trust. Her goal is to diagnose the root cause, not just treat the symptoms. She stresses the importance of choosing a healthy lifestyle as the primary prevention to acute and chronic illnesses. In her free time, Dr. John enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three active boys, running, and serving at her local church in Frisco.

Friendly and good bedside manners. Doctor listened to understand my concerns
Dr. John is a wonderful doctor. She takes her time to address the root cause of whatever your problem is, and you get the feeling that she really cares about her patients. The wait time to see her, however, is insufferable. I love this doctor, but the scheduling is a huge problem.
