Very prompt and pleasant receptionist. Dr. came out for me personally which is extremely courteous. My examination was very through and gave me the knowlege that he really cared about the care of my eyes. Written instructions for take home care was very helpful.

Came in on an emergency visit, I lost my vision in one eye. I came in very frighten even though I am a nurse practioner. I had an unbeliveable check up of my eyes. Everything that was possible to check, Dr Vale did. I had eye mapping, my vessels checked, and more. I had a comfortable, unrushed vist which you usually do not get as an emergency. I was thrilled with my results as no permanent damage was found. Kind, courteous & caring offece.

Dr. Steven Vale is a 1984 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He received his Medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University School of Medicine) in 1988. Dr. Vale served his medical internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Chester, Pennsylvania and completed his residency in internal medicine in 1991 at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Henry Ford Health Sciences Center in 1994 and a cornea, external disease and refractive surgery fellowship the following year at the Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Vale is specialty board certified in both Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology.
Dr. Vale is the region's most experienced eye surgeon in the field of laser vision correction of refractive errors. He began performing PRK and LASIK in August of 1994, under the supervision of internationally reknowned Canadian refractive surgeon Fuoad Tayfour, M.D.
