About Dr. Iana Brewer

Dr. Brewer has extensive training in many fields of optometry. During her time at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, she received in-depth training in ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and dry eye dysfunction. She also had the rare privilege of treating veterans through the low vision outpatient clinic and gained firsthand experience in the neuro-ophthalmology department at the Scheie Eye Institute. Additionally, she completed a rotation at See Clearly Vision in McLean, Virginia, where she trained in advanced corneal disease and specialty hard contacts, including scleral lenses. Dr. Brewer earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She holds a Doctor of Optometry license with certification in Therapeutics and Glaucoma Treatment. Dr. Brewer is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
