What a difference a day makes. The previous day I had waited 3 hours to even be called back. This visit was extraordinary. Check-in and called back within 10 minutes, did test, saw Dr.Khemka within 20min. Made decision and was schedule in surgery unit immediately for beta blocking injections - ALL done in less than 2.5 hours. The Plus - I loved working with Dr. Khemka, he was there every step of the way. Knowledgeable with professional courtesy for patients.

Dr. Khemka was born in India but spent most of his childhood in Nepal. He received his medical education Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India, one of the best medical schools in India. He graduated with distinctions, securing a position among top 5% of the graduating class. After completing the clinical internship in one of the top trauma hospitals in New Delhi, India, he moved to United Kingdom where he received extensive ER experience under Dr Brayley, who encouraged him to pursue the career in Anesthesia and pain management after seeing his clinical acumen in dealing with difficult pain patients in ER. He then migrated to United States in 1999 to join the Anesthesiology and critical care Residency at Tulane University Hospital, New Orleans. He also received the prestigious “best humanitarian award and “outstanding graduating resident of the year award from Tulane University. At Tulane he worked with Dr Melvin Gitlin and Dr Corey Scher. After finishing residency he practiced as an attending anesthesiologist and mastered different anesthesia skills including epidural, spinal injections and critical care. He is Board certified by American Board of Anesthesiology.
To further enhance his skills he joined the world famous M D Anderson cancer center, Houston, Texas for Pain Management fellowship. He worked with Dr Allen Burton, Dr Baseem Hamid and Dr Larry Driver, well known personalities in pain management. He received extensive training in latest interventional pain management techniques and he also became proficient cancer pain management.
He always believes in philosophy of patient safety and his highest priority is to deliver the appropriate and adequate medical care to the patient by applying the latest techniques and knowledge. He always likes to involve the

Dr. Khemka is not big on caring and does not explain things well. As far as wait times I think waiting over 2 hours in Pre-Op for him to show up is a bit excessive. And be very wary of his billing as it is totally incorrect. His office manager is quite smart to stay behind the bullet proof glass in front office as she is the nastiest person I have ever dealt with in any medical office. Think twice before choosing this Dr. although the nurses were fantastic in surgery it is not worth the negative things.

GOT IN WITHIN 30 MINUTES, BUT THEY WERENT THAT FRIENDLY, AND THE DR SEEMED MAD BECAUSE I DIDNT BRING MY MEDS. I WAS OUT OF THEM AND HAD MY PRINTOUT FROM MY PHARMACY. DIDNT CARE, AND WAS RUDE. NEVER GOING BACK. DIDNT LIKE WHAT THE OTHER DRS GAVE ME FOR YEARS, WANTED TO CHANGE EVERYTHING. THEY SUCKED.

Overrated. Stuffs were good but the doctor was NOT helpful nor nice at all.
Inconvenient location and facility has some problems now and they offered me to go 15 more miles away from my address !
so, I prefer to see an another doctor instead of keep seeing him.

He was extremely nice. Very professional but made me feel very comfortable. I wish I would have made an appointment with his office way sooner. The IV push they gave me seemed to help me the rest of the day and was able to sleep all but once during the night. That was a great accomplishment for me with my back and elbow pain. Thank You Dr Khemka and staff. Looking forward to my injection on Monday. Nervous, but that is just me. I hope it is Dr. Khemka doing the injections!!!
