A Colorado native, Dr. Williams grew up in Castle Rock. Before joining SCL Health, Dr. Williams did graduate work in Neurobiology, taught science in a small village in Kenya and then completed her medical school and residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. She spent 17 years working as an internal medicine physician, primarily taking care of senior patients.
“I enjoy managing complex medical issues and coordinating care with specialists to make sure my patients understand their medical conditions. I appreciate the opportunity to treat patients in the office, in their homes or via telehealth. I enjoy teaching and sharing medical knowledge with my patients. I want to make sure my patients have the knowledge and tools to make the best medical decisions for themselves.”
Dr. Williams understands that healthcare is complex and requires an understanding of the physical, social, emotional and spiritual causes for suffering. As a primary care physician, Dr. Williams is there to take that journey with her patients.
When not at work, she enjoys hiking/snow shoeing with her family and dog, mountain biking and baking.
