Patient reviews for Dr. Sumayya Ahmad
The doctor is very calm and nice. She answers all of your questions with patience. She is very knowledgeable and detailed.
Assistants also excellent
Calm, confident, patient, great bedside manner, good sense of humor. Knows what she's doing for sure.
She's worth the wait and she spends time with you and answers all questions. She is very approachable and friendly plus knowledgeable!
Dr. Ahmad is great, thorough and professional. As a photographer, I always worry a bit about my eyesight, but checkups with Dr. Ahmad relieve that stress.
Dr. Sumayya Ahmad doesn't give prescription for eye contacts .
She is very nice and friendly doctor
Very professional staff assisted me. Dr. Ahmad was very friendly, helpful and caring.
Dr. Ahmad is amazing! She helped improve my dry eye syndrome significantly. She’s incredibly friendly and always starts her appointments on time (which is quite rare when it comes to eye appointments to be honest) Would highly recommend her!
Very professional and charismatic too
Doctor and assistant were great but receptionists have to more professional and take care of the things what suppose to be. I have the insurance I gave the r information my card they can collect from my insurance additional information. They asked me to pay the full payment of the visit. Than I have to call my insurance to figure it out request a fax to the receptionist. What if I did not have money with me??????????
The doctor and staff are all very nice and attentive. Very comfortable facilities too. This place is an A+ experience for me as a patient.
Great visit. Knowledgeable doctor.
The first tech I was examined by, Mr. Davidov, was very welcoming, great bedside manner. The Asian tech/doc would benefit from taking some sort of social skills classes.. Dr. Sumayya herself was quite pleasant, but this was probably the quickest ophthalmology evaluation I've ever received. Wait time not bad. Please make sure you specify that you do not want the refraction results or you will be charged a fee in addition to your co-pay once it's printed. The front desk girl was very pleasant.
I get such a strong sense from Dr. Ahmad that she really knows what she’s doing. She is an expert ophthalmologist and she practices with the utmost professionalism. The eye tech, Nick, is very friendly and capable too.
All staff were professional, polite, patient & knowledgeable. I was not rushed and I was encouraged to ask any questions I might have.
Not so good. She kept me waiting for a long time, eventhough there were no other patients. She didn’t even check me for 5 minutes and said it will be fine. It’s been more than a month but there is no improvement in my condition.
she is very professional and answered my questions. she found that I have a cataract in my eye which was not detected by my other eye doctor. Its good sometimes to get another opinion, in this case it paid off.
All personnel are helpful and pleasant and doctor Sumayyabis great and sweet??
Vey professional highly recommended
Fantastic! Dr Ahmad is very knowledgeable of her field. She is very articulate, great manners, and has clear answers for your concerns. The whole experience made me feel like a real patient who was treated with a personal touch rather than on an assembly line as it happens in other doctors’ offices.
Great — all good.
My visit was great,very professional.
She is a fantastic doctor, very caring, professional and skilled. Had cataracts removed from both eyes and would do it again and I would encourage anyone else that is hesitant to have eye surgery to have Dr. Ahmad treat them.
First of all this place it’s so difficult to get to! The taxi left me two blocks away because the gps sent him to 30 dr I call to ask where was this place but it was cold I had my baby in my arm and the diaper bag and the phone on the other I had to hang up since I needed time for the operator to transfer me to a person. Long story short I finally got there 25 min later after walking like crazy around the blocks and the gps telling me that it was there but it wasn’t. When I finally got there the female receptionist yelled at me because I was late and asked the male “ Nick what are we going to do”? I felt so bad she could have been more professional and tell me to reschedule my appointment although it wasn’t my fault to get lost I could understand and just leave and reschedule my appointment.
She’s excellent and explained things very well.
Dr. Ahmad was excellent, very patient and kind but also extensive in her check up.
Professional, courteous and informative. I would recommend all the staff members at this office, very friendly.
Very caring and attentive. Was able to solve my problem and provide useful advice.
Fantastic Doctor. Very clearly outlined what her treatment plan for me was and why
Professional, compassionate, and meticulous! Glad i found her!
She was great, so helpful, very direct, very clear, gave me a very detailed explanation about the health of my eyes. I have sensitive eyes and constantly go to to the eye doctor. I really trusted her. Her assistant was also amazing and very helpful and knowledgeable (basically as much as her since he's been doing this for so long)
I was immediately impressed by how quiet and clean this office was. Receptionist was very friendly, sweet and professional! Optometrist who performed my routine vision tests was beyond patient and kind, and helped ease my anxiety about the visit. Dr. was professional, thorough and straight to the point. Overall I would recommend.
She was great and knew how to explain my situation perfectly. Neat office and kind receptionist. Assistants were very welcoming and attentive. Will definitely be returning and making appointments for my other family members.
Great doctor! No long waits.
If you want to get contact lenses, don't go to her. You'll regret.
She is a very good doctor!!!
Dr. Sumayya Ahmad was really kind and patient. She explained everything to me and made me feel understood. There was another employee there (didnt catch his title) Nick, he was really helpful and has a fun sense of humor. I was seen right away and after seeing Nick there was a bit of a wait to see Dr. Sumayya. Thankfully, once I met with her, she was very patient and didnt seem rushed.
Overall visit was helpful in the diagnosis. Dr. Ahmad was personable and I felt very comfortable with her. Only suggestion for her and her team is to inform patients ahead of time that they are going to perform a complete eye test-- even if that is not the central concern of the appointment.
She and her assistant were great. Extremely professional and helpful!
Nick and Dr. Ahmad were courteous, fast and professional.
Very professional, knowledgeable in her field of medicine, experienced and professional staff. Was impressive to an out of town patient.
Dr Sumayya Ahmad was awesome, super clear and direct, thoughtful about my condition, checked my eyes thoroughly after realizing my prescription was very high. The technician was amazing, he was so knowledgeable, super thoughtful, seemed very invested in my concerns and in raising these concerns with Dr Ahmad. Overall, great experience.
Very nice kind doctor explained me everything very deeply and nicely.
I loved how intrigued she was to find a dx for me. My symptoms could be diagnosed in so many ways. But I feel confident she will take care of me. I also noticed her assistant wasn't accommodating to his boss.
The service was excellent! Doctor Ahmad was very nice and knows her stuff!
My visit was great overall! All staff were in communication with each other.
Dr. Ahmad is not just a great doctor. She took the time to explain the treatment she was giving me, and even looked for the most affordable way to prescribe it. She looked for the root cause of my eye problem and laid out a multi faceted plan to stop it. As I said, she's not just a great doctor, but she also actually cares about her patients, which makes her pretty unique in these parts.
