I had an excellent visit with Dr. Hurson. Her staff scheduled an appointment for me right away and I was seen promptly by Dr. Hurson after discussing my symptoms with her capable nurse, Terri. Dr. Hurson was personable, knowledgeable and really took the time to listen and ask questions regarding my symptoms and concerns. She gave me a thorough exam and was able to diagnose my condition and discuss treatment options during the office visit. Overall, Dr. Hurson really listens to me and communicates in a thoughtful but not overly technical manner. She not only addresses my questions and concerns during appointments but often follows-up lately with additional insight and advice - she is one of my most trusted and competent physicians.

I embrace the philosophy of caring for the whole person, acknowledging and honoring the importance of body, mind and spirit. My role is to provide care, instruction and guidance to help each patient achieve and maintain optimal health. Appreciation of every patient as a unique individual is key for supporting success in each patient's endeavor.
I am happy to see patients regardless of insurance coverage, but I do not "participate" in any insurance plans. Instead, I strive to keep costs reasonable and yet provide personalized care unhindered by the constraints of "managed care". Payment is expected at the time of your visit, but if insurance information is provided, we will submit your claim forms and any reimbursement from your insurance company will be sent directly to you.
