I am happily accepting new patients. For all new patients seeing me as a PCP or for Annual Wellness Visits, patient will need to change their PCP with the insurance prior to booking an appointment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your appointment.
All new patients requesting GYN appt/PAP smear will be required to switch their PCP to myself. A referral from PCP is not accepted. Failure to obtain referral will result in appointment cancellation. JLJ BCBS not accepted

My quest for excellence in healthcare outcomes for all patients has fueled my passion and thirst for learning and excelling. A Jamaican immigrant who migrated to the USA in 2000, innately compassionate, respectful, pleasant, and CARES about people. In 2006 graduated from BMCC- Borough of Manhattan Community College with honors Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. Was humbled and blessed to be honored with the Academic Excellence Award from the Nursing Department, conferred to the student with the highest GPA of the 120 students graduating from the Nursing Department that year. During those three years at BMCC, my responsibilities included been a mother to 3 young daughters, a wife, and a volunteer Nursing Tutor as I felt it was essential to give back by tutoring Nursing Students. Another philosophy that I use to guide my actions in life is , "God blesses us so we can bless others".
Personally and professionally, I am following my God-given purpose. I am committed to excellence and impacting positively in whatever I do. In addition, my husband and I are proud parents to our 3 beautiful adult daughters; all focused on making positive strides in society.

This was my absolute BEST experience with a female health provider. She was extremely sensitive and exact. She treated me like a human with feelings. As a masculine presenting gay woman I have not had good luck with female providers. They usually do not look me in the eyes & most touch me fearfully as though I have a contagious disease. Every female practitioner I have been to calls me obese and shames my weight. I experienced NONE of that during this visit. It was extremely refreshing to feel cared for and concerned about. Instead if being shunned about my weight, I was listened to about what I thought the problem was and then given explanations and tests for what it might be. For the first time (without me saying it) I was told that some of the weight could be from muscle...I wasn't just judged by my height for what my weight should be. Also, a sonogram was scheduled as well as thyroid testing...this is the FIRST time anyone actually did that and I didn't have to suggest it myself.

Dr. Susan was very friendly and caring! Definitely a long term doctor. Glad to finally find a primary care doctor that I can keep for years to come. Listened to all of my concerns and even went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. The only downside I had was the wait time in the office. Waited over an hour to see the doctor. And parking in the area was horrible but I will keep making the trip just to see her!

It's been over a month since my appointment and I still haven't received my prescription. They needed proof of diagnosis from me and let me call back approximately four times before they made me aware of this. She wouldn't explore a diagnosis with me because I didn't "look like" I had what I was asking about a diagnosis for.

I appreciate mrs frith-headley for listening to me I really had so much bottled up and need someone to listen..she made me feel a lot better .. I would say I didn’t like how the receptionist kept asking for my pharmacy to send prescriptions and Mrs frith-headley asked as well if I wanted a prescription to help with the pain .. i believe that’s how addictions start and I don’t think it should have been offered so early on . I think sometimes people just need someone to talk to pills don’t heal the deeper issues… besides that she listened gave me great advice and new perspective on something’s.. thank you

her staff is very patient. I was seen right away and was out of the office within the hour. If your looking for a physician in the Far Rockaway area I strongly suggest her!
