I serve on the advisory council of the PAFP Medical Home Project for care of patients with disabilities. In this context, I've served on the expert work group committee for the Maternal and Child Health Division of the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C., and on an Objective Review Committee (ORC) of grant applications for HRSA. I've also been actively involved in motivating residents to participate in research projects and to present at various conferences.

I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Calcutta National Medical College. I completed my internship and residency in Family Medicine at Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata. Additionally, I pursued a fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad.
