Sylvia Walton Wright, MD, entered Emory University in 1983 as a member of the prestigious Emory Scholars Program. During her college years, she was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Delta Science Honor Society and Rho Lambda Leadership Honor Society and was consistently included on the Dean’s List for Academic excellence. After graduating from Emory in 1987, Dr. Wright spent two years performing both basic science and clinical research. In 1989, she entered Meharry Medical College, where she received numerous academic honors and awards including induction into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, the highest honor bestowed a medical student. In May of 1993, she received her medical degree and became the fourth generation of her family to graduate from Meharry Medical College. In 1994, Dr. Wright entered the three-year dermatology residency program of Harvard Medical School, where she had the honor of serving as chief resident for the 1996-1997 academic year. Since joining Peachtree Dermatology Associates in 1997, Dr. Wright has lectured nationwide on a variety of topics and has served as president of the Atlanta Dermatological Association. She has a special interest in medical and cosmetic dermatology, including skin cancer therapy, anti-aging therapy, lasers, liposuction, Botox® and fillers.

I thought i was coming to see Dr Wright, after all, that’s what it said online and on ZocDoc.
I ended up with someone else who sweared when walking into the exam room because of how cold she thought it was. I thought that was pretty unprofessional.
I think when I book an appointment for a specific doctor, i should’ve have gotten that doctor, but when I showed up, the first thing the employees told me was that she doesn’t even work on Fridays. So my experience today was overall - interesting.

Dr. Wright came highly recommended by several friends and she did not disappoint. I was seen approximately 10 mins after my appointment time which shocked me because I've waited up to 2 hours after my appointment time at other dermatologists in Atlanta. She was very warm and personable and answered all of my questions. The appointment didn't feel rushed at all. I'm so pleased about my experience. Highly recommended.

Excellent Dermatologist. She really knows what to do. She exceeds any dermatologist I've ever seen and I've been going to dermatologists for 40 years. I'm so happy to have found her. I'm tough, I thought they were all the same I had practically given up on finding a great dermatologist.
She's wat too good. If you can get an appointment with her. I'm certain you won't be disappointed. Her staff also deserves 5 stars. Unbelievable service.

Dr. Wright met me with a very warm and friendly smile. She appeared extremely confident, which gave me a feeling of trust. Her knowledge of my issues helped me to have an impressive visit. Even though this was my first visit, she made me feel like I was her mother, and treated me with personal care. I so appreciated the care she put into my visit. She didn't appear rushed, just attentive and caring. I am certainly glad someone recommended her to me. She definitely lived up to the recommendation I was given.

Really liked Dr. Wright... I didn't feel rushed, she answered questions and explained my medical concerns very well. The wait time was a bit long, however it's understandable if the Dr. is taking time with each patient and not trying to rush them in and out.

Dr. Wright is the absolute best! I had a melanoma which required further surgical excision. Her technique is flawless, and bedside manner is perfection! She took time to answer, explain, .... the details of melanoma. She also came in on her day off to get this surgical procedure done so that it could be done quickly after diagnosis. My husband and I both go to her and we both cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her assistants.

Dr. Wright and her staff are amazing. I was greeted with a smile at the front desk. The dental assistant made sure to get every detail of all my skin ailments. She even took a picture of me for my file with an iPad. I like that the office is technologically savvy. Dr. Wright then came in and answered all of my questions and even laughed at my silly jokes during the exam. Her bedside demeanor relieved all of my anxiety about going to the dermatologist and having them look at my skin issues. She even complimented me on my pretty skin and promised to help me get it all back to 100%. Afterwards, I was given a detailed list of how to use each perscription, coupons for over the counter medications and samples while I wait for my pharacist to fulfill my perscriptions. The office was emaculate and the staff was pleasant. I'm glad I found a new dermatologist :-)

Dr. Wright and her assistant Shantay were excellent. You cannot ask for better bedside manner. The pre-exam was extremely thorough, but not invasive. I felt like I was having a chat with an old friend of mine! Dr. Wright addressed every one of my concerns in one visit, and made me feel very warm and welcome. I have never received this level of service from any other Dermatologist. I am so very grateful to be in her care.
