Kate Kaufman joined Dermatology Consultants in October 2015. She is a board-certified physician assistant with experience in medical dermatology and internal medicine. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory University’s Physician Assistant program in 2010. Kate is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistant Society. My appointment was for 7:30 am. I arrived at 7:10 to fill out paperwork. There was only 1 other person in the waiting room because they open at 7 am. I was taken back to a private room at 7:30 exactly and was left alone in the room until 8:20 am. The doctor finally came in and was pleasant but my experience was ruined by the ridiculous wait time.

New patient and everything was exceptional! My appointment was at 8:10am, but I arrived at 7:45am considering I gave myself ample time for traffic. I would’ve thought that I’d be seen within 5 or 10 minutes, but they didn’t call me until my actual appointment time. I think next time I’ll arrive right at my appointment time.
Katherine was awesome. She addressed my concerns head on and was able to treat me then and there. From check in to check out I was there a total of one hour.
