He then successfully completed the Residency training in both Primary Medicine and Surgery of the foot and ankle at Sacred Heart Hospital, Chicago. During the past years, Dr. Ahn has performed over 5,000 podiatric surgeries, and has been involved in teaching state-of-the-art and latest surgical techniques to podiatric residents. Dr.Ahn's In-Office Surgical Suite helps reduce patient's out of pocket amounts.

He was very kind during the appointment, understanding my fears of the situation. He was thorough, intelligent and most important of all - quick (as quick as one can be while being thorough and doing minor foot surgery). Our follow upappointments were great, he helped me to get orthotics for my feet and my nail healed perfectly. No issues over a year later and I am so thankful I went through the process of having my ingrown toenail removed.

It was a pleasure meeting with Dr. Ahn this morning because I was seen by him right away and he spent an abundance of time with me thoroughly discussing my diagnosis and the various types of treatment available. Dr. Ahn was very thorough and told me in detail what was needed for my bunions. He is also 1 of very few podiatrists in the country who perform a new procedure for this surgery, and he can do it inhis office. No need to go to a Hospital.

I was pleased with our conversation and his knowledge, I also like the fact that he is trying alternative natural herbal remedies. I am disappointed in the cost of orthotics, however I believe I can get healed before resorting to orthotics,at least that is my intention. I really liked Dr. Ahn. He was very professional and straight-forward. As he explained treatment options to me, he made sure I was following him and understood. He just seemed like a good guy, which is nice to have in adoctor. The facilities weren't very fancy, but I'm not someone who's worried about that. They also JUST moved into this office, so keep that in mind.

I was deeply impressed with Dr. Ahn's professionalism and knowledge. But the most pleasant surprise was his bedside manner. I visited another podiatrist for my same problem (a gnarly ingrown toenail from a hiking trip) and was in tears whenI left. Not only did Dr. Ahn solve my problem (permanently removing part of the nail), but I genuinely felt like he cared about my overall health and calmed my fears about the procedure. He was quick, efficient, kind and did not rush me to a decision. The highest reviews for Dr Ahn.

I was in the office for over an hour, yet I only had interaction with the doctor/assistants for maybe 15-20 minutes of that time. I spent very long stretches of time just sitting in a room by myself with no explanationof why I was made to wait for so long. In the future, I'll go elsewhere.
