This was my first visit. I found my experience to be a positive and efficient, in particular with Dr. Clark. She has a warm, but direct bedside manner. I must say, for nearly 2 months I was in excruciating pain that kept me bedridden and barely could walk. I went to my PCP, then the ER, and I saw two Chiropractors. No one could give me relief of my pain, except Dr. Clark. She provided me a sample medication along with a prescription that relieved nearly 75 percent of my pain within hours of taking the medicine. For the first time, I could move about to do chores and stand on my feet for a longer period. Even the the 25 percent of pain, I feel free. Yes, I highly recommend Dr. Clark.

Dr. Tameta Clark joined National Spine & Pain Centers in 2013. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Clark graduated with a degree in Biochemistry from Duke University, after which she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her medical education. She returned to Duke University Hospital to complete residency in Anesthesiology, where she was elected Chief Resident in her final year. She went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Pain Management at Emory University.
An experienced provider, Dr. Clark’s approach to care is patient-centric. She enjoys tailoring each patient’s care to meet their specific needs, educating them about their condition and possible treatment options, both medically and with alternative means. She is expertly trained in a wide range of services including fluoroscopically guided spinal injections, peripheral nerve blocks, joint injections and spinal cord stimulation.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Clark ensures she is providing the best care for her patients by participating in the Maintenance of Certification Program, an educational process designed to help physicians keep abreast of medical advances in their fields, new treatment modalities and best practice systems.
