Very professional and thorough. Enjoyed working with the staff picking out my new glasses and sunglasses from the many top name brand frames. They do not rush you at all. I tried on frames of every color, shape and material and had fun doing it. I can't wait until my glasses are in. I already know once my daughter sees my new glasses and sunglasses, she will make an appointment. Maybe I will go back with her, it was an enjoyable, no pressure experience and they give you their honest opinion so you walk out looking stylish.

Dr. Tara H. Ransdell is committed to providing comprehensive eyecare with a friendly touch. Dr. Ransdell purchased Peoria Eye Care on December 1, 2005. Her eyecare includes fitting specialty contact lenses, co-managing LASIK and cataract patients, and treating eye infections.
Tara grew up in northern Minnesota. After high school, she simply crossed the river and attended the University of North Dakota. While at UND she was named to the President's List, and also competed on the women's basketball team.
In 2000, she graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry, located in Chicago. While in Chicago, she discovered a love for running, and competed in 4 marathons. In 1998 she married a longtime friend, Jason Ransdell, who is also an optometrist. In 2004 Jason and Tara welcomed their first child, Jordan Taylor, into the world. Jordan has a "big brother", her yellow labrador retriever, Elway.
