Dr. Schwab grew up in the Pacific Northwest, attending the University of Portland before moving to Boston, Mass. to work in a residential treatment facility for troubled youth. Dr. Schwab attended medical school at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago and completed her pediatric residency at OHSU.
Dr. Schwab says building relationships with the individual children and families in her practice is her top priority. “I strive to keep the emotional well-being of the entire family in mind,” she says. Dr. Schwab and her husband have three children, and spend the majority of their free time enjoying family activities, attending school functions and sporting events, skiing and traveling. “I also try to fit in a good book whenever possible!” she says.
