I waited an extra week to see not only the PA but the MD because of my complicated medical history. He spent about 2 minutes talking to me and didn't seem to listen to me at all. On the positive side, the PA was wonderful. And I would love to see her again. However I waited an hour to even get called back to see her, another 10 minutes before she came in and another 15 before he came in. He then spoke with me for about 3 minutes, then consulted with her, making me wait another 14 minutes, and after that a nurse came in with orders for tests and a script for a med I do take but for the wrong dosage. I never had the chance to speak with either of them again. It seemed they were swamped so I'd like to give them another shot as the PA and physician seemed to have a good understanding of my rare genetic disease which is uncommon in PCPs.
