Dr. Dwyer is a knowledgeable physician with great bedside manner. He saw me on time, and took his time to make sure all my questions were answered before the visit was over. I would highly recommend Dr. Dwyer to anyone looking for a rheumatologist.

Dr. Dwyer was pleasant and gave a lot of information. When I told him about the problems with my knee he had it x-rayed right away and had the x-rays in the exam room right after the x-ray was taken.

I would never recommend this doctor. I have seen multiple specialists and came to him because it's been narrowed down to the belief of Lupus. He basically said oh no you couldn't have that but we could test if you reallythink so. He made me feel insignificant so now I'm just dealing with the symptoms and won't go to another specialist.

My first time seeing this doctor, and maybe he caught me off guard, but he didn't seem all that interested in hearing the background of my condition. As a doctor, I would've expected a bit more patience in hearing my story/concernsbefore jumping to a conclusion. I felt like he treated me like he had more important things to do and he just wanted move on.

I was a patient of Dr. Dwyer's and tolerated the deficiencies in his bedside manner for many years (explaining osteoporosis with a Pac Man metaphor, using his hands--one as the calcium and the other as the cell gobbling up the calcium;another time when I complained of shoulder pain he told me to look up exercises on the internet). The last straw was when I described the symptoms that led to my ovarian cancer diagnosis, one of which was breast swelling, and he snickered and when I asked him what was funny he said "well, who would have thought that a trait you'd normally associate with a hot woman would turn out to be cancer." Need I say how infantile, inappropriate and insensitive that comment was? Don't see this man. He is totally lacking in emotional intelligence.

Dr. Dwyer has treated me in the past, and I have always been pleased with the results. Today, he explained to me why I was experiencing my current arthritis-related issue, and offered different solutions, from conservative treatment to surgery. He favored the conservative approach, and described each step he took as he treated my condition. He was professional, and it was easy to converse with him. I was very satisfied with his solution, and recommend him highly.
