Not so sure. It sort of felt like my pain was being discounted sort of a suck it up nancy attitude.

Dr Dwyer is the consummate professional! Additionally his staff exceeds all expectations. I will continue to see Dr Dwyer and use MEDSTAR Georgetown for all my health needs.
Verified patient
Terrible bedside manner. He blamed everything on my weight and didn’t let me fully explain while I was there. He rushed me thru and sent a Rx for some kind of NSAID and said “no more visits are necessary.” Then, I look on the paperwork and it says he saw me for knee problems. I said nothing about my knee. The whole visit was bizarre and I’m not sure if it was about my weight or my race because though I’m heavy, I see plenty people my size.
He’s an ok doctor. If you just want a quick check and be on your way he’s good enough. If you have a lot to say or explain you won’t be given time with him. He’s a bad listener.
The visit was great but it took a while before they asked me to fill out paperwork and I waited much longer than 30 min from the time arrived to the time I was seen. I wasn’t a new patient either.
Very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Dwyer. He listened , evaluated, thorough exam with xrays, blood work and follow up appointment. Would Highly Recommend him.
Verified patient
When i got there. They didn't show an appointment for me at all. They did fit me in within patients. The wait time was almost an hour. But when i finally got to see the doctor. I was very happy with his bedside manner. It was awesome to to be able to get xray's all on the same day.
Verified patient
I like that they can do the xrays on site and provide a near immediate diagnosis. Dr. Dwyer is gives you a straight answer and explains optional treatments so you can make an informed decision.
Verified patient
Enjoyed the doctor very much. Seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Did not speak very forthrightly, tended to mumble. But with my hearing deficiency that could be most everyone. Waiting room was somewhat chaotic, very busy.
Verified patient
Arrived two hours early for appointment, provider was able to see me sooner than expected appointment time. Provider is very proficient in his field and is aware of other specialties that can assist with the different body function to help better treat the issues the patient is experiencing.
Verified patient
Dr. Dwyer is a knowledgeable physician with great bedside manner. He saw me on time, and took his time to make sure all my questions were answered before the visit was over. I would highly recommend Dr. Dwyer to anyone looking for a rheumatologist.
Verified patient
Dr. Dwyer was pleasant and gave a lot of information. When I told him about the problems with my knee he had it x-rayed right away and had the x-rays in the exam room right after the x-ray was taken.
