My ideal client prefers a more wholistic approach for complete ultimate wellness utilizing complementary treatment and therapies to live their best possible life and does not rely on controlled substance prescriptions to solve their concerns. I am empathetic, compassionate, caring and truly vested in facilitating the best care possible while weighing the highest reward with the least risk. Do No Harm at the very least.
My experience in Primary Care, Public Health, Infectious Disease, Pain Management, Addiction Medicine and Behavioral Health Care allows me to look at the whole person and not simply compartmentalize clients' complaints. There is a strong Mind Body Connection whereas comprehensive therapy along with Mindfulness is key to your complete wellness. Over the decades of caring for patients first as an RN then later an NP in multiple states on both the East and West Coasts I have worked with a variety of patients in many different settings from inpatient major teaching hospitals to community-based clinics, school health, public health, home health, private offices, Veteran's Hospitals/outpatient centers to community outreach including but not limited to vulnerable populations such as the homeless on skid row in Los Angeles CA. Throughout I find the human spirit is strong and when people feel they belong to a community that cares for them and accepts them for who they are, they tend to thrive and overcome just about any obstacles. It is my hope that I may continue to serve my local community to help our neighbors do better and feel more emotionally, physically and spiritually secure as an important part of our beautiful Cape Cod MA natural environment, in harmony with nature.
