Finally!!! I found a doctor who listens!!! Doctor Albert is the third doctor I have been to since 2013. He takes the time to listen. He is not at all pompous. He really seems to understand the art of listening. I highly recommend Doctor Albert.

Dr. Thomas Albert is proud to be a part of the PHMR team as a Board Certified Internal Medicine specialist. Prior to becoming a medical doctor, he spent over 15 years practicing chiropractic medicine in the Chicago area. In addition to his past experience in musculoskeletal and pain medicine, he has extensive experience in the diseases that affect adults including obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, cancer and stroke. Dr. Albert’s background includes working both in the Loyola University and Ingalls Hospital emergency medical system as a paramedic. He has shared his passion for health and fitness as a consultant to schools, churches and community organizations throughout Chicago.
Additionally, Dr Albert has enjoyed teaching medical students, nurses and residents as an associate professor of medicine at Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine and West Suburban Medical Centers Internal medicine’s Residency Program.
Dr. Albert and his wife, who is a nurse, founded Abundant Health Ministry at New Life Covenant Church, Chicago.
Dr Albert maintains membership in the American College of physicians, the American college of Sports medicine, and the American Society of Bariatric Medicine.
