What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
Growing up witnessing my mother's tireless dedication and unwavering commitment as a nurse is what inspired me to pursure a career in healthcare. Listening to my mother's experiences at the dinner table growing up instilled in me a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. I am driven by a deep sense of empathy and a passion for helping those in need. Following in the footsteps of my mother and becoming a physician has given me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of medicine, providing compassionate and comprehensive care to anyone that walks through the door.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I am passionate about pain management due to the profound impact it can have on my patients' lives. I have the privilege of working with patients to alleviate their suffering and restore quality of life for individuals grappling with chronic pain. Witnessing patients experience relief and regain mobility and functionality, is what brings me immense joy as a physician. The field of pain medicine is constantly evolving, offering me opportunities for ongoing learning and the chance to explore cutting-edge reasearch and technology to further treat my patients.

As an Interventional Pain Physician I understand that chronic pain can deeply affect individuals physically, mentally, and emotionally. I will take the time to actively listen and validate your experiences. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgemental environment encouraging open communication, allowing you to freely express your concerns, fears and treatment goals. I believe in collaborating with my patients with genuine care and respect, working together to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that aligns with their needs and values.
