Dr. Hunt attended the Vanderbilt University’s School of Medicine to receive his medical degree, and he completed his general surgery internship at Vanderbilt’s Medical Center. He then relocated to the University of Kansas Medical Center to participate in an orthopaedic surgery and pathology research fellowship. When he completed this research, Dr. Hunt then continued his postdoctoral training with an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. During this residency, Dr. Hunt participated in a hand and microvascular surgery rotation at the Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center in Philadelphia. After his residency, Dr. Hunt completed a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
