Dr. Tran is the best doctor I have had. She takes the time to listen. I have been seeing her for over 10 yeas as my gynecologist. She is wonderful: personable, caring, sense of humor. Her advice has been so good that my daughter has become her patient as well. Dr. Tran can communicate to my young daughter at her level so naturally that we both feel at ease with doctor Tran. We have referred our friends and other family members to her office because she is a great doctor.

Thuc Bao Tran is an experienced and compassionate OB-GYN and gynecologist caring for women in the communities of Covington and Hammond, LA. Dr. Tran attended Louisiana State University, New Orleans, where she received her medical degree. She continued her education at Tulane University, where she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Tran also completed an internship in family medicine at Ochsner Hospital.
Dr. Tran runs her own private practice where she cares for women all of ages. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Southern Medical Association. Dr. Tran treats her patients for a variety of reasons including pap smears, birth control, irregular menstruation, and menopause. She also performs a variety of gynecological surgeries including endometrial ablations and hysterectomies.
In addition to working at her practice, Dr. Tran is a volunteer assistant clinical professor at Tulane University. The International Association of Obstetricians & Gynecologists recently awarded Dr. Tran as one of the “Leading Physicians of the World”. Outside of caring for her patients, Dr. Tran enjoys working out at the gym and spending time with her family. She is a self-proclaimed foodie, and she loves to travel to find great cuisine. Dr. Tran believes in being an attentive, compassionate, and thorough physician so that her patients feel comfortable and knowledgeable when they leave her office.

Dr. Tran is caring, compassionate, and thorough. She goes above and beyond as a gynecologist and physician to take care of me and my needs. I feel extremely comfortable with her and so I am able to have informed conversations with her. It is because she is so personable. Her staff is small but her office is efficient. I LOVE her!!! I have recommended many friends and family to her.
