Dr. Miller was amazing! He was very friendly, professional and informative. He explained things to me that no eye doctor I've seen had done before. He made me feel comfortable and listened to any concerns I had. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Todd Miller is a native of the DFW area, having grown up in Richardson and graduated J.J.Pearce HS in 1981. He graduated Texas A&M University in 1986 with a B.S. in Biology. He received a Masters in Neurophysiology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989 and a Doctorate from the University of Houston in 1994. At U of H, he was given an National Eye Institute grant and was involved in research mapping the visual centers of vertebrates. He did his externships at the eye clinic of the Navaho Reservation in Fort Defiance, NM and at The EyeCare and Surgery Center of North Texas under the supervision of Joe DeLoach, OD, Wesley Herman, MD and Brad Pazandak, MD.
Along with comprehensive eye care, Dr. Miller is also intensely interested in anything scientific or historical. His hobbies include astronomy, paleontology, playing his trombone in the Rockwall Community Band and dabbling in the visual arts. He has been married for nine wonderful years to the former Catherine Noble of Longview, Tx who is taking time off from teaching elementary school to raise their beautiful daughters Caitlin and Jacquelin.

Dr. Todd Miller and his entire staff are such caring and so personable. Myself and my entire family have been eye patients with Dr. Miller for years. Two of us wear contacts and two glasses. Once in a very infrequent while I "almost" experienced issues with glasses or frames ...I say "almost" because all but one time Dr. Miller and his staff caught a problem before I even came in to have the new glasses fitted, called me to let me know they're on it, and helped reschedule me to a time that worked for me so I experienced no negative impact. I've also experienced eye problems requiring advanced specialist care; Dr. Miller recommended specialist that provided excellent treatment and resolution. It would be so nice if more professionals and service providers were as outgoing and so reasonably customer focused as Dr. Miller and his staff. Dr. Miller well deserves my thanks and appreciation.

Dr Miller was knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything thoroughly. The exam was extensive. I felt like everything was covered that needed to be. I had lots of opportunity to ask questions if I needed more information.
His assistant was super nice, and very efficient. Before the exam she went over what to expect, and gave me information about what was included in the exam cost and what I what would be additional cost. She was very knowledgeable about insurance and helped me understand what would be covered and what might not be so there would be no unexpected charges.She helped me locate frames and select lenses that were the best options for my prescription, my personal style, and my budget.
I am very happy with my choice to try a new doctor, and would recommend Dr Miller and his team very highly.

He and his staff are not only extremely professional and responsive to patient needs, they are sensitive and compassionate to the individual. I was the primary caretaker to my critically ill husband and had was setting my first appt with Dr Miller for an eye infection that needed to be addressed immediately. They worked me into his schedule for that morning. I will continue to see Dr Miller.

Dr. Miller was truly amazing. I haven’t been to an optometrist in more than a decade and have never had vision issues. He took the time to explain how and why each test was conducted and clearly specified how my corrective lenses were optional and where exactly they would benefit vs not. I would recommend Dr. Miller to everyone I know!!

Dr Miller and his team impress me as caring and efficient. I wear multi-focal glasses but would like contacts at times. My eyes presented a challenge to find the right pair of contacts, but Dr. Miller and his team patiently tried different options with me and proactively reached out to me on follow ups. The staff even kept an eye out for me regarding insurance. I am extremely pleased!
