About Dr. Thanh Kim Dau

Thanh Kim Dau, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. Inspired at a young age by her father’s encouragement to “grow up and be a doctor,” Dr. Dau discovered her passion for optometry after her first eye exam, which sparked a lifelong interest in the field. She has been practicing since 2010 and is proud to carry on a family tradition with three other family members also working as optometrists. Dr. Dau enjoys practicing holistic optometry, incorporating both mind and body in patient care. She values building strong relationships with her patients, learning something new from them every day, and is grateful for the opportunity to balance a fulfilling professional life with meaningful contributions to the healthcare community. Outside of the office, Dr. Dau loves yoga, nature walks, sunsets, and appreciating the beauty of a full moon. She also enjoys exquisite food and most importantly spending time with loved ones, especially her nephew. She lives by the motto: “Live life with purpose and passion.”
