About Tracey Stassi
Tracey has worked as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the Pennsylvania State University. She earned her Master of Health Science with a Nutrition Concentration from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. Tracey is originally from Pennsylvania, but has since relocated to Colorado with her family.
Tracey previously worked as a Registered Dietitian with individuals of all ages diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities at a residential facility located in Langhorne, PA. In this position, Tracey provided medical nutrition therapy to these individuals and gained experience working with a wide variety of disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Prader-Willi Syndrome.
In 2017, Tracey began working at The Renfrew Center in Philadelphia, and quickly developed a passion for helping individuals with eating disorders heal their relationship with food and their bodies. Tracey has helped many clients navigate their own journey to recovery and educated their loved ones on how to best support them through this process. At The Renfrew Center, Tracey also gained experience treating individuals diagnosed with Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and helped to develop the ARFID program. Tracey co-presented a workshop on how to recognize and treat ARFID at The Renfrew Center Foundation Conference for Professionals in 2018, and was also featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer in 2019 for this work.
When she is not working, Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog, as well as cooking and visiting new places in Colorado. She is always looking for recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to try!
