Dr. Tracy Gapin joined Florida Urology Specialists in August 2004. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his general surgical training and urology residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident of Urology.
Performing the first DaVinci Robotic Surgery case in the southwestern Florida area, Dr. Gapin has since successfully completed over 100 surgeries utilizing this cutting edge medical technology.
Dr. Gapin is licensed to practice adult and pediatric urology in the states of Florida and Texas. He is a member of the Florida Urologic Society, American Urological Association, and American Medical Association. He is board certified by the American Urological Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
