I received my Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. I am certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and am licensed through the state of New Jersey as an Advanced Practice Nurse. I am also a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. The focus of the majority of my experience has been with adult populations within inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment settings. Through my educational and work experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of mental health disorders in various settings. This has given me valuable insight into the needs of different populations and how to work collaboratively with individuals to meet their unique needs. I have a great passion for mental health and understand the importance of working with individuals to establish a course of treatment aligned with their goals and preferences. My focus remains on the whole individual and their overall well-being. Staying current with evidence-based treatment approaches and modalities allows me to integrate the latest research into practice.
