Dr. Franklin earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Metropolitan State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Metropolitan State University, as well as an associate degree and practical nurse diploma in nursing from Minnesota State, Southeast Technical College. She has been recognized for academic excellence, including the President’s Outstanding Student Award in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. At Willa

As a dual- board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP and ANCC), Dr. Franklin cares for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, men and women’s health.
Dr. Franklin also offers broad in-office procedural care. Her experience includes colposcopy and LEEP for diagnosis and treatment for cervical cancer prevention, Pap smears, IUD and Nexplanon placement and removal, incision and drainage, minor wound suturing and laceration repair, skin lesion procedures (including biopsy), joint space injections, and advanced wound care for acute and chronic, wounds, including debridement, and others.
