Amaka was really easy to talk to and I felt like she listened to my concerns. I do feel, however, that she was a bit too casual and did make some remarks that were a bit uncomfortable but there was absolutely no ill-intent there.

Dr. Orji was incredibly funny and honest. The wait time was super short and I felt accepted into the space and comfortable with talking to her. Although she’s not a therapist she wasn’t in a rush to pass me off to someone else. Instead she scheduled a time for us to meet again and create a strategy. She was patient and walked me through the process of finding a good therapist which was refreshing. Thanks so much for seeing me!

While my primary role is medication management, I try to incorporate psychotherapy when treating mental health disorders. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and my Bachelor's degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Amaka is clinical but kind of fun about it. I waited for maybe 3 minutes before she saw me, she was professional, asked questions and took notes, and her approach to diagnosing and finding a medication made me feel empowered, in the sense that I felt like I had a major hand in helping her choose the right treatment for *me*. She answered my questions and made sure I understood side effects, etc.

Amaka is terrific, very easy to talk with about even difficult topics, and provides a genuine, non-fluffy perspective that is helpful, applicable and never condescending. I very much appreciate her honest approach and lack of pretense, and my appointments with her have consistently been helpful, and never feel like we are re-enacting a 'therapy couch scene' from a bad movie. Thanks Amaka!

I had a wonderful experience with Amaka. My appointment was through Doxy.me which was very convenient with my work schedule. Because of this there was no wait time and I was seen right away on time.
Aside from the convenience of my appointment, I was so happy to finally find a psych doctor who I felt comfortable with and who was able to laugh with me. Amaka is incredibly charming, helpful and thorough in her approach and I absolutely recommend her!
