In my approach to treatment, I prioritize a patient-centered approach that is collaborative and grounded in trust, respect, and authenticity. I believe meaningful care emerges through a strong therapeutic relationship, where clinician and patient work together as partners to develop shared understanding and goals.
What should a new client know about working with you?
*We do not prescribe daily benzodiazepine medications or exceedingly high doses of stimulants due to long term health risks*
Medications are just one of many tools available to support mental health. I see it as a way to improve daily functioning so that patients can focus on a healing journey. I focus my work on empowering patients by offering tools and insights that support self-exploration, emotional growth, and resilience. I recognize that in these uncertain times, life can feel chaotic, and overwhelming and these experiences often raise deeper questions about one's life direction. Together, we explore these challenges in a way that will foster a renewed sense of agency. I strive to create a supportive space in which patients feel comfortable reflecting on their experiences, guiding them to move forward in ways that feel authentic and aligned with their values.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
At MindFlow Psychiatry we have an in-depth first session to determine your treatment plan and goals. Together we design a process that works for you, often implementing therapy with combination of medications as needed. Follow up cadence is dependent on fit, plan and availability.
