Valerie Layne, DNP, FNP-C received her BS from the University of the State of New York at Albany, and a Master of Arts in Nursing New York University. She received a Post Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the College of New Jersey and a clinical doctorate (DNP) from Case Western Reserve University.
Valerie joined Princeton Medical Group in October 2013 after 12 years of practice in internal medicine. She is board certified in family practice, and has been a nurse practitioner since July 2000. She has been an affiliate staff member at Princeton Healthcare System since 2000.

One of the most salient aspects of finding a new doctor for me is finding someone who listens and is able to communicate with efficacy. Dr. Valerie does that with ease. I felt comfortable discussing my medical history with her and will apply everything she offered to better my health even further. The front office staff were courteous and helpful which added to the overall experience - I wish I knew the name of the kind woman that helped me as soon as I walked in. Wait time was minimal and the office is clean and orderly. I've found my new doctor and I highly recommend her - she's caring and thorough.
