Dr. Nguyen is a native of Vienna, Virginia and attended James Madison High School where she graduated salutarian. Dr. Nguyen attended George Mason University on full scholarship as a George Mason Scholar, graduating with a B.S. in Biology. She received her Doctorate in Medicine from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (formerly Medical College of Virginia) in Richmond, VA, and completed her residency training at the University of Maryland’s Family Medicine program in Baltimore, MD.
Prior to joining Family Medicine of Oakton in summer of 2008, Dr. Nguyen worked at NOVA Medical and Urgent Care Center in Ashburn, VA. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and the American Medical Association. Dr. Nguyen is board certified in Family Medicine.

My appointment was set for 8:20 and I didn't leave until 10:30... I filled out paperwork for 15 mins and then waited to be seen. They took blood and I did a urine sample and then waited in another room for 35 MINS before being seen by the nurse practitioner. That was pretty rediculous... Besides the long wait times, I had no other issues.

Doctor and services were polite, on time but missing essential information and well experienced practices for laboratory works. I have bruise in hand week after blood was taken.

I went here with a complaint and a known family history that was likely the cause I just need it confirmed and then a prescription, instead I was treated very rudely and was judged for my appearance. I get that I am overweight and need to loose some weight and I am working on it, but there is never a reason for anyone to say no your family history doesn't matter its because your fat. Do not go here unless you want to feel worse than when you went it.
