Vanessa earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. During her time at Northwestern, she actively participated in the Community Outreach program and the Project Strengthen program, working with clients who struggled with trauma, inter-partner violence, and relational abuse. These experiences inspired Vanessa's interest in various therapeutic approaches, including music, art, and dance therapy interventions.
