During her time at Northwestern, she actively participated in the Community Outreach program and the Project Strengthen program, working with clients who struggled with trauma, inter-partner violence, and relational abuse. These experiences inspired Vanessa's interest in various therapeutic approaches, including music, art, and dance therapy interventions.
