I went to Dr Hernandez to get an eye glass prescription, She forgot to add pupillary distance to the prescription. The eyeglass place tried calling the office and they were unsuccessful. I tried calling . I have been without glasses for a week, and Dr Hernandez has been extremely irresponsible for not giving a simple PD on the prescription, I will try calling again tomorrow, What a waste of time!!!!

I noticed it was getting a little harder to see things up close and had been putting off seeing someone about it. Dr. Hernandez was very professional and addressed my concerns quickly but without rushing me.
The hospital itself is quite large, and can be a bit confusing. Make sure you take the south elevator (probably obvious to everyone but me). Although It was very busy when I arrived, everyone was friendly and efficient. Wait times were short.

The office charges an additional set fee for glasses prescriptions, and a separate set fee contact prescriptions, which are not covered by insurance. This was not disclosed when I made the appointment via zocdoc, but may be mentioned when you make the appointment over the phone.

The doctor was fine but the staff member who checked me in was rude and did not explain that my insurance would not cover an eye exam. Now I am going to have to pay out of pocket for the exam.
