I did the appt on this app and when I went to the Dr office they told me that they don’t take my insurance they want me to pay cash.
Was really frustrating I don’t understand why he is in the list of the Dr that take the David Vision insure when he doesn’t take that plan.
If someone is planing to make an appointment with that Dr make sure you insurance is accepted before you go there.

Never going back. Very unfriendly staff that just look down on you and very reluctant to give any sort of explanations. Doctor was ok but you barely see him 5 minutes. Once you get your prescription don't expect any sort of help to choose your glasses and don't you dare asking any questions

Dr. Mohammed Hamza is a wonderful practitioner, personally and professionally. He is friendly, kind, considerate, and caring: easy to talk to, and ready to answer any and all questions. Dr. Hamza has a masterful command of his specialty. He can discuss the anatomy and physiology of the eye in deep detail, yet in a way that any patient can understand. Most importantly, his bottom-line concern is the best outcome for patient. He makes every effort to apply test results to finding solutions which are in the patient's best interests. Very highly recommended!

I had a great appointment with Dr. Hamza. He was very kind and took his time to make sure I understood everything and gave me some options for my new contact lenses.
One thing to note was that the office does not actually seem to be in network with my insurance even though ZocDoc indicated that was the case, so I did have an unexpected out of pocket expense but the office carefully explained it to me prior to my appointment to make sure I was OK with the amount.

Dr. Hamza was great! He took the time to review my medical history and do a thorough exam with a follow-up plan. I've seen several optometrists since moving to NYC 8 years ago and he was the best. I will stop looking for a new optometrist now and continue following up with him.
