I practically finished a book waiting for the appointment to start. I was ready to go crazy listening to Action News at high volume in the waiting room. Otherwise, Dr. Graves was a wonderful man who mostly listened to my concerns- I imagine he had to be rushed, which I get - and I'd still brave the ridiculous waiting time to go to him. Just bring a book.

1:45 appt, didn't see the dr until after 3:00; 45 mins in the waiting room. Staff is pretty disconnected and borderline rude. It's cash only, which was never communicated clearly ahead of time through all the emails and texts I got,was apparently mentioned on the voicemail I didn't check bc I got all the emails and texts. They wouldn't give me a shot bc I didn't have enough cash so I had to walk 11 blocks to Target to get cash to come back and get the shot lol. Few things that bugged me: the Dr. never introduced himself/shook my hand when he came in, talked super fast, pulled one of those "start backing out the room while still talking" so I didn't get to ask all my questions and felt rushed (after waiting 75 mins to speak to him and paying my cash up front lol), no one knocked before entering the room. I wanted to know what the name of the shot was I got and it was an inconvenience to everyone I asked, finally the third person spelled it for me so I could research it. The front desk ladies were pretty rude about the cash (which I am sorry but is not a common doctor office practice and shouldn't be surprising to them that a first time patient is caught off guard by - it makes the whole experience feel sketchy even if the office is legitimate). Anyway - I have yet to find a dermatologist I like in Philly and did schedule a follow up appointment since I started a long list of treatment options. Will update if there's any improvement after the second visit.

I loved the staff however the wait was over an hour and I’m sure it has to do with the doctor’s ability to spend time explaining the issues.

Dr. Graves was a great doctor but the wait was crazy. My appointment was at 12:45pm but I wasn't taken back to the room until 2:30 and Dr. Graves didn't come in until at least 3. I was down on thestreet by 3:12 and ended up receiving a parking ticket since my meter expired while I was waiting for Dr. Graves to come in to the room. Dr. Graves himself was a GREAT doctor though, he was friendly, knowledgeable, explained my issues and why he was prescribing me what he did and what it would do for me as well as answered my questions.

I thought Dr Graves was very nice and a good doctor. The staff in his office were incredibly rude and disrespectful. The front desk staff barely even looked at me when I got there, let alone smile. When I asked thewoman at the front if she knew how long the wait would be, she shrugged her shoulders and said "depends". I needed to go back to work after and was just looking for an estimate. There was no apology for a backup in appointments, or simply a smile while talking to me. When I was finally called back and in the exam room, I continued to receive attitude from one of the Dr's assistants. Needless to say, I will not be returning, which is a shame, because I really do think that Dr. Graves is a very nice guy and an intelligent doctor, but his office staff ruined the entire experience for me.

Very good visit. Wait time was longer than usual but that was due to the amount of appointments scheduled that day and the fact that Dr. Graves is very popular and good doctor. I think I made a great choice, picking him as my dermatologist.

Dr. Graves was very kind. He listened to my long and complicated health history and offered helpful insights. I would definitely recommend for anyone suffering with chronic disease in need of a patient and sympathetic doctor to help make sense of a complicated condition.

I really appreciated that everyone really listened to the issues I was having before the doctor prescribed medication. I've previously been to dermatologists who just assume they know what's happening with my hair and skin, and have prescribed medication that didn't really help resolve my issue.

He made me feelseen and cared for. I can't recommend him highly enough. He also never tried to upsell me on cosmetic treatments.

I met very briefly with Dr. Graves for a simple issue. He was kind, funny, and professional - he was great. The from desk staff was rude and unhelpful. And co-pays were cash only, which was very inconvenient. Probably won't goback because the front desk staff was so unpleasant.

The wait was ridiculous. A simple consultation and i waited an hour and a half. Total overbooking. I made the appointment based on availability offered to work with my work schefule. Patients have lives too! Every room was full and onlyone doc. I sat in a plain office alone for an hour once i was moved from my half hour waiting room. Reception folks have bad manners as well. Chose another since nothing good stands out.

The wait time was long and the doctor really seemed to be in a rush; I had additional questions but decided against asking because of how rushed his demeanor seemed to be. Also, the office is cash only; that's very inconvenient.I ended up spending some of that long wait time looking for an ATM. It's 2017, there are plenty of reasonably priced credit/debit payment acceptance options out there for businesses.

Not impressed. Doctor did not knock on door before entering exam room. Doctor one-on-one was very brief - less than two minutes. Staff member first took photos of my condition (in poor office lighting)- doctor never looked in person, nor askedme specifics, but was quick to make diagnosis and prescribe medicine. But, perhaps I had a common issue, but that wasn't explained to me either.

Dr. Graves how are you still in business? He had too many appointments on Friday Sept. 23, 2016. He has no respect for his patients' time. My appointment was 10:45 am . I finished at 1:45 pm. He never explained myone condition, but I read the into and that is how I found out about my one condition. My friend that drove me had to pay extra money for the parking. The Curtis Building paring is: 1 half hour is ten bucks. Up to 1. 5 hour is $15 bucks. I was there far too long and had to pay $23. for anything over 1.5 hours.

The office visit was fine. The only problem was not knowing that the office only accepted cash for the co-payment. I had to leave and fine my financial institution to get cash because I was prepared to pay by check. Itwould be great if the office staff would inform new patients that they only accepted cash for their co-pay.

We came all the way from Jackson, NJ to see Dr. Graves. We were looking for someone that specialized in black skin care and found him online. I read the reviews before booking an appointment, but didn't let them alter mythoughts. Upon arrival I was quite impressed with the office location, decor and staffing. Everyone was very nice. Unfortunately, we waited in the waiting room for 1hr and 15 mins. Then we waited in the office for 15 mins before we actually saw the doctor. Dr. Graves was very effecient, very kind, very helpful and very knowledgeable. He took time with us and answered all of our questions and concerns. He did not rush us. What i found most impressive were two things: (1) that he actually read the online note that I wrote when I made the appointment so he already knew what my concerns were and (2) that his amazing and just as knowledgeable wife (Leslie) works along side of him and made us feel just as comfortable and welcome. It was our first visit and besides the $30 dollar parking garage ticket and the hour and a half wait, it was all good! God bless him and his practice.

Dr. Graves is extremely knowledgeable and he was able to accurately diagnose my problem immediately. I do not doubt his ability as a physician. However I felt his bedside manner was horribly poor. I have a skin condition located in aintimate area. I requested specifically for a male physician exactly for this reason. Dr. Graves walked in with his medical assistant and without asking or even explaining, his MA, took a picture of the area zooming in with an IPAD. My next issue is that, Dr. Graves prescribed me medication that my insurance did not cover. I'm sure it'll work but I wont be able to use it because its not covered by my insurance. I went to the pharmacy only to find out that I owed a large sum for a bottle of a compound he recommended. I do wish that Dr. Graves would have had the foresight to recommend a medication that would be financially viable and also treat my condition. Though Dr. Graves knowledge of medicine was impressive his lack of understanding people and empathizing is his greatest flaw.
