Dr. Parish appeared very knowledgeable.
The doctor was good in understanding my problem with patience.
Dr. Parish was great. She listened to all of my questions and concerns and provided a comprehensive examination. She had great bedside manner and explained everything in detail. The only drawback to this visit was the wait - I arrived at the time of my appointment but waited half an hour before being called into the examination room and then waited an additional 15 minutes before the doctor came to see me.
Dr. Parish was so helpful and efficient. She put me right at ease. I had been to another dermatologist previously who did not know what something on my skin was and Dr. Parish knew right away and took care of it. Highly recommended.
Knowledgeable, professional, and kept me at ease
Amazing & Professional! so nice and friendly too. Would recommend 100%
My visit with Dr. Parish was great! She was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Even with being her last appointment of the day, she took the time to answer all of my questions and help with my skin issues. Highly recommend!
Dr. Parish is professional and empathetic. She listened to my symptoms, asked appropriate questions for clarification, and gave me several options to consider.
I don’t usually read reviews because I generally think all doctors office experiences are the same, but to the person scrolling .. please read this review. The office manager was incredibly rude to me for literally no reason at all from the moment I was on the phone with her, she had this “loud older woman personality” that won’t sit well with most younger patients, and might be this doctors office downfall in the future. I’m no entitled millennial, but with any whiff of racism, I’m quicker to call it out in today’s Trump America. Doctor was passive aggressive in tone and awkward after office manager spoke to her about my interaction. I stayed because I already paid my copay, but I don’t plan on returning. They have cameras in the exam room and in the waiting room, not sure why.. no one is trying to steal your hand sanitizer. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a doctors office, I literally sat in the waiting room wanting to cry.
Great experience! Dr. Jennifer is incredibly straightforward & knowlegable about what she is doing. I appreciated that & it helped me relax, as a person who is always hesitant to go to the doctor.
She was very professional and helpful. Gave multiple treatment options and discussed which would be best for me. Only complaint was the wait time.
Extremely intelligent; horrible bedside manner
I will start going here
I like Dr. Parish. I see her annually for my skin screening. She is professional and straight to the point.
AVOID HER! I arrived 20 minutes early for a 10:15am appointment. I was coming to address concerns with my many many moles on my body. I was not asked up to the desk for my insurance card or copay until the time of my appointment. The receptionist was clearly overwhelmed with the 4 patients in the waiting room, and tended to be short and snippy with me. I wasn't taken back to an examination room until closer to 10:30, where I waited another 10-15 minutes for the doctor to come in. The doctor came into the room around 10:40 and I was in the elevator and leaving by 10:43. She came in, asked how I was doing and dove right into the questions - no quick polite conversation, no real smile...very off-putting. She clearly just wanted me out of her office so she could move on to other patients. I told her I was concerned about how I could not see the many moles on my back but all she did was examine them, told me they all looked the same, and asked if I had any other concerns. I was flabbergasted. I waited 10 times as long as I was seen by the doctor. She gave me no direction on what I could do about my concerns. I will definitely be finding a new dermatologist. I wish I read the other reviews before booking my appointment with her.
Dr. Jennifer Parish is amazing! I really could not recommend her more highly. The perfect bedside manner, but also no nonsense.
Easy going, smart, punctual. Nothing bad to say! I'll definitely see her again.
The wait time was very short and the doctor was fun and engaging. I highly recommend this office.
She can be cold and quick- but knowledgeable and professional.
Easy, quick and informative appt
It was very nice! She has awesome bedside manner and she made sure that I understood my diagnosis.
She was hasty and wanted to be done with it, without listening to what i was saying. Maybe she's good but i didnt see that side of her, on that day.
Yep! I found my dermatologist .. Dr. Parish really knows what’s she’s doing knows. I went to her for a couple issues and she was able to clear them very quickly .. the 2 other dermatologists I saw about my concerns couldn’t even figure out what was wrong. I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen and always get positive vibes her staff.
I like Dr parish. Just felt rushed.
They saw me right on time, but I found Dr. Parish unnecessarily rude and condescending. I wouldn't go back.
Great experience! She was professional, prompt and great listener. She diagnosed my case right away.
I highly recommend Dr. Jennifer Parish. She is very intelligent, professional, and caring.
She is good! But you wait longer than you visit with the doctor
Very good experience. Won't be looking any further for a dermatologist.
Very timely and very professional
Dr. Parish was so sweet and understanding of my issues. She was very approachable and kind. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a dermatologist. I will definitely be back with any other skin questions/concerns!
The receptionist claimed that I did not have an appointment even after seeing my confirmation email from zocdoc.
Treated. very well.
Dr Parish was exceptional. She took time with me and explained my diagnosis. I would recommend her to my friends
She did a beautiful job with my fillers. It is natural and perfect for my daughter's wedding this weekend.
Jennifer Parrish was great.
It was my first time so i really cant say after my treatment i will no more.
The wait wasn't too bad--just a few minutes in the waiting room, and then 10 mins or so back in the room. I usually have no issues waiting for doctors--I would rather them be thorough with patients rather than rushed. The visit itself lasted maybe 5 minutes with Dr. Parrish. She was not overly nice, but professional. One suggestion (that I didn't realize until afterwards)--if patients have to disrobe (obviously needed for checking spots), have the blinds drawn in the room prior to patients coming in. It's not super comfortable feeling like you're flashing half of center city through glass windows.
I normally do not write negative reviews, but Jennifer Parish was a tad standoffish for my taste. I had never met with her before, so I felt that she could have listened to me more and observed me more carefully. I was really looking for help and professionalism and I felt like she did not want to hear about my concerns, but rather just write down a script. I know that doctors are all about making money, and seeing the next client, but I really would have preferred more attention from her. I just do not think she is the right doctor for me, but for others she might be okay.
Everything was fine. The only problem was Zocdoc never forward my online paperwork.
I went in to check on a couple suspicious spots on my nose. She just glanced at them, said she could remove them next time. I asked if they could be removed during this appointment, she said yes. She didn't offer to scrape or zap; went ahead and zapped them which left two scars on my nose and she didn't even remove the entire bump for one of them. The entire experience was awful and expensive.
Dr. Parish was clearly in a rush. She was with me for 5 minutes, no exaggeration.. I was in her office for exactly 5 minutes. Did not take any time to explain me my condition and what she intended to do. Just wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way.
I think I've figured out why Jennifer's reviews are so-so. On the first appointment, I was seen immediately, encouraged and given amazing attention. She forced me to write the (very simple) instructions on my phone notes, because I will surely forget. I thought it was odd, but played along. She continued with off behavior such as talking specifics about her family's experience at local schools and just getting too personal for someone I met 10 minutes before. I let it go, and weeks later when I returned, it took over an hour to be seen. Someone who walked in after I did had been double-booked at the same time as my appointment because the office had not updated their availability on zocdoc (I had made the appointment 6 weeks before, the newcomer had only done it the day before). Regardless, she was immediately taken in before me, and I was left to see her leave, wait another 20 minutes, then be dismissed before I could speak with the secretary because "she knows I am here." When I finally got into a room, I waiting another 15 minutes to see the doctor. I was given a slightly different routine, but told she likely would be prescribing me something else when I needed to return "when I'm in a better mood." I was shocked she was so unprofessional, and annoyed that I was being "punished" for being quieter, but no less friendly, than the previous visit. She was far colder than our first encounter and frankly made me uncomfortable to sit in the room. I still cannot understand why she would not just give me the prescription that day, if she thought that was best. Needless to say, I called an cancelled the appointment I was told to come to weeks later "with a smile on my face," and found another derm. Don't fall for the first visit pleasantries, they are only there to secure your return.
Doctor was good. However, two things ruined the experience. The wait time (45 minutes). Also, receptionist had a lot of attitude - looks like she was over her head.
Everything about this visit was wonderful. i was treated so very nice and felt the Doctor was very attentive to my needs.
She is awesome!!!Extremely professional and personable. She was able to answer all of my questions and offered options for treatment.
She was very responsive, knowledgeable, and kind.
I was very pleased with my visit! Dr. Parish is very thorough, EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very personable. I could not have been happier and would highly recommend her!!
Quick and to the point, Dr. Parrish did my skin check in just a few minutes and even took the time to address some other skin problems, I will continue to go here for any dermatology needs in the future :)
Doctor Jennifer was very nice she answered every questions very help me I would definitely recommended
Dr. Parish was knowledgeable and efficient. She was also very friendly. Very professional.
The wait was very short. The doctor was quick but efficient, and she answered the questions that I had.
She is kind and efficient. Fast talker, but very thoughtful. She noticed things I didn't bring up (huge plus) and was very detailed in her recommendation.
wasn't thorough at all wait time was awful
She was professional and the office is beautiful. I was very nervous about a possible melanoma due to my family history. She did a thorough exam and alleviated my fears. If only all doctors were this great.
She did feom the first time.
It wasn't very pleasant... The staff wasnt very warming ether they dont accept payments after the visit they receptionist almost laughed when I told u was paying out of pocket..
I have been waiting 40 minutes.
Very pleased with her and the office staff. I would certainly return and recommend her to others :-)!!
This system did not work for me. I spent much time making an appointment by computer, only to have the secretary call me the next day to say the doctor couldn't see me then. The secretary then tried to steer me to the doctor's Center City office 10 miles away, when she had appointments available in the office that I had selected. She was completely disorganized. I will not use your computerized service again or recommend it to others.
Overall, I wasn't thrilled but we'll see how well the medications she prescribed me work. If they do what she says they will, then I will be happy. I wasn't super happy that I had to wait as long as I did but at least the doctor gave me the opportunity to ask whatever questions I wanted to and discussed my options.
Dr was helpful, but wait time was unacceptable and there was never a thank you or an apology.
It was quick and she answered all of the questions I had and took care of what needed to be done. Wonderful to be seen, get things done and move on with the day. The staff is very friendly and professional.
she was very professional but I did not like the way time
I took my daughter to see Dr. Parish for plantar warts. She explained how warts spread to my daughter and I together, then recommended the most gentle topical application treatment and explained what would happen to the warts and what to expect. She treated us right then and 6 wks later the warts are completely gone from just the one application.
Very helpful and insightful
Jennifer Parish was confident in her work. Only complaint was she seemed to be a step out the door the second she came into the office.
very efficient and helpful!
