I had my first appointment today (after a brief consultation yesterday) and it exceeded my expectations. I opted for a Telehealth appointment, so this was done entirely through video. I joined my session and was immediately greeted with no wait time. The first portion of my appointment was spent with a provider talking with me about my symptoms and history. She was easy to talk to and did a comprehensive overview of my needs and what brought me in. After that, we joined a room with Velile, and went over what we'd discussed so far. Velile was warm, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I will definitely continue seeing her, and appreciated the professionalism and kindness of her staff!

She was sweet over video and I loved her. But the main provider that's above her she tried to contact the main provider even though I was wanting to get help anyway if the main provider would've declined about signing just 1 piece of paperwork that the yourtexasbenefits just wanted ANY doctor to sign to state if my disability was permanent or not to see if I could work or not and still receive SNAP food benefits & medicaid. Which was okay with me if the main provider declined but still wanted to receive help anyway for my mental health as it has been driving me crazy & miserable, But nope the main provider above her decided not only did she declined that stated I wasn't her patient but also didn't wanna accept me as a patient for that type of reason!!! WHEN I WANTED HELP ANYWAY. I am so depressed. I will be rubbing it in their faces (yourtexasbenefits) telling them I told them so as I knew this was gonna happen telling them their gonna have to wait and be patient about it
