Dr. Karuparthy is President and Founder of the Integrative Pain Centers of America. He has created the Pain Management Center with an outcomes based unique proprietary integrative approach called TIPS® (Tandem Integrative Pain Solutions.) Dr. Karuparthy received his medical degree in India. He completed an Anesthesia Residency in Anesthesiology, at Loyola University Medical Center, Chicago, IL in 1993. He later completed a Fellowship in Pain Management at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Karuparthy is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and double board Certified Interventional Pain Management with the American Board of Anesthesiology and American Board of Pain Medicine. He is also Board Certified by the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture in Medical Acupuncture. He applies medical acupuncture techniques in his protocols to deliver a value added pain relief experience to the patients at the Integrative Pain Centers of America. He is also trained in multiple alternative modalities of Yoga and Ayurveda enabling him to include these modalities in the Center’s protocols for effective and holistic integration. He is a certified ACLS instructor.
Dr. Karuparthy has served as Medical Director of the Pain Center at Wishard Hospital, affiliate of Indiana University Medical Center and later served as Pain Medicine faculty at the University of Iowa, Carver School of Medicine. He established roots in the Quad Cities in 2001. He has since founded the Integrative Pain Centers of America allowing him to follow his passion of providing pain relief and conquer chronic pain.

I had a very pleasant visit. The facility was spotless. All of the individuals working there were very pleasant and acted in a professional manner. I was impressed with the efficiency that the facility and its providers worked with each other. It is definately a classy medical facility.:-)

I feel Integrated Pain is the greatest!! The staff is professional, kind and very through at their job. I feel my life is so much more functional & feel my quality of life is so much better as well. I think they are wonderful.
