Dr. Victor I. Rosenberg has been practicing medicine for over 40 years. He attended the Chicago Medical School and completed four years of General Surgery training. Dr. Rosenberg also completed three years of specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Beth Israel Medical Center and Albert Einstein Medical Center and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1969.
With a specialization in Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Rosenberg was Director of Cosmetic Surgery at New York Downtown Hospital for many years and is currently on the medical staff at New York Downtown and Mount Sinai Hospitals.
He is affiliated with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of CUNY.
During the Vietnam War, Dr. Rosenberg served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Albans Naval Hospital working with service men and women to re-enter civilian life without the hardship of disfigurement. He co-founded a program which provides emergency medical training to residential and commercial buildings. Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons and many other associations.
He has appeared on countless television shows including Live with Regis and Kathy Lee, Oprah Winfrey, Donahue, Joan Rivers and CCN International and featured in numerous magazines and newspapers such as The New York Times, U.S. Report, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Allure, Us and Seventeen.
