Dr. Do received her medical degree from St. George’s Hospital Medical School in London, United Kingdom. She completed her residency with the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program served as a full time attending faculty for over 10 years. She is currently in private Practice in the Medical Center, Houston. Dr. Do is board certified in Family Medicine. She is an Associate Professor for Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Do is a designated Civil Surgeon and Credentialed ImPACT Consultant. She is fluent in Vietnamese. Dr. Do values her role as her patients’ coordinator of care. She speaks openly and thoroughly with her patients and stresses education in her practice. She takes as much time as necessary to explain the health condition or diagnosis to her patients, working closely with them to provide a comprehensive, individualized plan of action. Most importantly, she ensures her patients understand the reasons why she’s recommended a certain treatment plan. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Do studies medical journals and stays up-to-date on new technologies, treatments, and procedures. She practices evidence-based medicine, a combination of individual clinical expertise and external clinical evidence from the most current research, studies and protocols. Among the many chronic and acute conditions she treats, Dr. Do especially enjoys in preventive medicine, believing it is much easier to prevent a problem than to treat it. In her free time. Dr. Do enjoys cooking, spending time with her husband and two children.
