being new to the area I didn't know any Dr's.I found Dr Taunk on zoc doc and my first visit I new she was special, very caring and understanding. I was scheduled for an appointment one day and showed up an hour early because I was having chest pains, I stuck my head into the receptionist area and let her know I was having chest pains and she dropped everything and notified the doctor who also stopped what she was doing and began to treat me with thee utmost care and professionalism ,The whole staff in her office were awesome and I truly believed they saved my life.

There was a little bit of a wait but I was a first time patient. Her staff is amazing!! I never had a nurse take such time and concern. She asked her questions and showed heart!! I really needed that today!! The Dr. was very sweet, down to earth, and listened to a enormous list of issues without rushing me. She had no problems answering every single question, where Dr.'s usually say "well we will address just these issues today". They did a world of good for my mind and soul. Vijay Taunk and her staff are wonderful!!

My appointment was for an annual physical. My blood pressure was taken and she listened to my heart and lungs through my sweater. She never looked at my eyes, ears or throat. She never checked my reflexes. I was given a list of labs to have blood work done. Overall, this was not a thorough physical and I will now look for another professional.

I just did not feel that she paid attention, due to the fact she told me my colonoscopy results were great--- and I NEVER had one! She had referred me for one but I was not able to make the appointment.. So to me -how do I know she was really paying attention to my chart/history.

Terrible !!! I had had an previous appointment with her . My primary had retired, then I found myself in the hospital. Needing a follow up, and to find a new primary doctor I found her. My first visit was fine. I returned for another follow up with some paper work from my insurance carrier. I waited 45 minutes in the lobby to watch other new patients that came in after me placed in the back. When I got back into the room, the nurse took my blood pressure. I showed her my form. She left the room asking me to get undressed for my exam. After another 25 minutes in the exam room the nursed retuned to inform me that the doctor changes an extra large fee to fill out forms.
I told them I was leaving !!! I stated as I was leaving that someone could have informed me before I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes. They told me that it was her policy and it was posted up front. I stated "she is my primary doctor??? As I left, I still did not see the note!!!!???? Extra to fill out a form for insurance???
I will be looking into if this is legal. My insurance required this formed to be filled out after my hospital stay.

Best you could ever ask for. She always asks everything about your medicine you are taking, how you are feeling and goes a step further and tells you what you need as far as tests that you are needing while she has you in the office.

Overall the experience was fine. The wait was a bit long but I always prepare myself for waiting at a medical appointment. The office staff was super friendly and personable.
I was a new patient and went in for a particular issue. Dr. Taunk was quite thorough with me and, in fact, spent enough time with me to discuss multiple other health issues.
She is not warm and fuzzy, but she was thorough. But with that said, Maybe too thorough as she was sort of "all over the place" with my exam. She ordered numerous follow up tests and lab work for my current concer but also for a few other outstanding conditions, of which I am appreciative, as most doctors don't do that kind of thing. But i left there overwhelmed with all the follow up appointments I needed to schedule, and being new to the area i now need to locate all these places for testing and get my medical records from my previous doctor. I will be going back for follow up once my test results are back.Overall, it was a satisfactory visit.
