More about Vimi Masters, PA
At a young age, Vimi had a passion for helping others and showed a genuine interest in medicine. Through multiple high school societies, clubs and volunteer opportunities, Vimi found her fit in medicine by becoming a physician assistant and decided to a pursue a career in that area of medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington and then further completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHSU in Boston, MA. After graduating with her Masters in 2014, she became a nationally certified physician assistant and has been an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). She is also ACLS and BLS certified.
She has been working in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine since graduating and is a strong advocate for Preventative medicine and health maintenance. She believes in partnering with the patient towards a common goal of achieving physical and psychological well-being through patient education and empowerment. She thoroughly enjoys educating and spending time with her patients by discussing how to manage chronic diseases by promoting healthy habits in order to achieve a good quality of life for years to come. She is committed to providing quality, evidence-based care to all of her patients.
She is a native Texan who has several interests from exploring the world through traveling, to performing cultural dances, to cuddling up with a good book in her free time. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is an avid follower of Dallas sports teams and cheers for the Dallas Cowboys on NFL game day.
