Dr. Vinod Jindal, Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Fellowship trained Retina specialist and Medical Director of New Century Ophthalmology Group, is committed to serve the community by providing the best possible care to his patients. Dr. Jindal completed his medical degree at Punjabi University Medical School in India and earned his Diplomate in Ophthalmology. He continued his studies, earning a Master of Ophthalmic Surgery at India’s Mangalore University, where he completed his residency. He served as Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Arpana Eye and General Hospital in Madhuban, Haryana, India before becoming a postdoctoral research fellow at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He then received a postdoctoral clinical fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Diseases and Surgery at Southern Eye Associates in Raleigh, NC. Next, to fulfill conditions of the American Board of Ophthalmology he completed his internship in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital Medical Center, Cornell University, NY and Ophthalmology Residency at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, LA.
