The only thing that's time consuming is the paperwork- I have been a patient there before and I had to refill out all of my patient history and there were repetitive medical history questions within the paperwork.
Dr. Bitar is great, as are all of the staff there at MedStar Federal Hill!

my appointment wasn't confirmed by the office, there was a mix-up between ZocDoc and the office BUT they still got me in almost right away and Dr. Bitar was very patient while I explained some issues I was having. I have seen Dr. Bitar a few times now and I wouldn't recommend anyone else. He clearly cares about his patients and takes the time to listen and ask questions without making you feel rushed. He personally follows up if need be as well. Great Dr!

Dr. Bitar was very professional and knowledgable. I was dreading this visit, but it went over very quickly and smoothly. I will definitely be returning each year for routine visits. Highly recommended!

I scheduled my appt on Zoc Doc and arrived to my appt 15 minutes early. The front desk receptionists were friendly but unprofessional. I was informed from one receptionist I did not have an appt, so I showed her my confirmation from Zoc Doc. I waited 30 minutes to be seen and had to redo my paperwork.
Dr Bitar was friendly during my appt. He ordered blood work and a urinalysis the day of. I called him twice 3 days later to get the results, I was unable to reach him either time. Turns out I was pregnant and had a UTI and it took him 2 wks to diagnose and call me.
Unfortunately I had an ectopic pregnancy and had to be rushed to the ER. I called him and of course I could not reach him. I left two messages for him to return my call with the message service. My ER surgeon tried to contact him and she left messages with the svc as well. I will never return to this Dr. It's not enough to smile and be nice during a pts appt. At some point, a dr should be accessible for emergencies and shouldn't take 2 wks to tell someone they have an infection. Run, don't walk to another OBGYN.
