I was beyond impressed! To have a debilitating disease and be able to find away to continue practicing just confirms why he has the many plaques on his walls and the amazing reviews. I liked him so much I cancelled with their other Doctor and have scheduled appointments for my parents to go see Dr. Root.

He took the time to listen to my concerns. Also told me to text him if medication didn't work and he would change it. You pay for an hour and you actually get the full hour unlike most psychologists.

Patients are encouraged to form a partnership with me. I am the psychiatrist who spends time with my patients and strives to listen to their concerns to help them achieve their wellness goals. I keep current on research to provide the most effective treatments with minimal side effects. I prefer to focus on wellness plans rather than to remain focused on illness.
I Primarily function on a cash system. The one exception is I do take BCBS HMO but not PPO.

He seems to listen and really care about what ails you. He was encouraging and gave me detailed information about what to expect with the treatment he was providing.

I was very happy with my visit. Dr. Root had been my psychiatrist back in 2011, when I was an inpatient at a local treatment center. I found him to be very professional and personable. It is a great day when you find a psychiatrist that actually listens to his patients. I would and will wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Root.

Dr. Root has been vert thorough and diagnosis of patient has been "spot on". He has very good "bedside manner". Understanding of my husband's personal needs is what has been most important to me. I appreciated the way Dr. Root has respected him and us in regards to our pychiatric needs.
