Thomas (Tom) Hageman graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing through the School of Nursing's Doctor of Nursing Practice program. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Hageman has experience working with adults and adolescents of all cultural backgrounds who are suffering from depression, anxiety, other mood disorders, suicidality, and life stressors. He also has experience working with individuals in the LGBTQ community. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, Mr. Hageman focuses on providing holistic, patient-centered, evidence-based care by collaborating with patients and their treatment teams. Tom utilizes medication management as well as cognitive behavioral therapies to address concerns or issues. He does not prescribe long-term benzodiazepine or hypnotic medications. Additionally, Mr. Hageman does not complete FMLA or disability paperwork and does not treat individuals with a diagnosis of autism.
Mr. Hageman is a sports fanatic who enjoys rooting for his favorite teams throughout the year and attending games whenever he can. His hobbies include playing sports, traveling, and playing the piano.
