Dr. Ward Bourdeaux is an experienced and diligent OB-GYN caring for the communities of Alpharetta and Atlanta, GA. Dr. Bourdeaux attended Tulane University, where he received his medical degree. He continued his medical training by completing a residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Bourdeaux is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and sees patients for variety of reasons, including abdominal pain, premenstrual mood disorder, endometriosis, breast cancer screening, and, vulvar and gynecologic biopsy. He performs several procedures, including hysteroscopy, LEEP, colposcopy, and endometrial ablation.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Bourdeaux enjoys spectator sports, travelling, and spending time with family. He is devoted to ensuring the longevity of his patients’ health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. He takes his time to understand symptoms and give correct diagnoses to ensure the continued health of all his patients.

I'm usually very uncomfortable seeing my Gynecologist. However, on my first visit with him, he made me feel comfortable & took his time with me. He is very knowledgeable and helped me understand things also. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a GYN.

I'm sorry to say, this visit was terrible! Dr. Bordeaux may be good but he is quite old so he CANNOT hear. Everything I said he kept saying: "I'm sorry my hearing is now bad with age you have to speak really loud." Alright, I might have been ok with basically shouting but he insisted on leaving his door open so everyone in the hallway could hear me talking about my gynecological issues that I'd have preferred not to advertise. I got a second opinion. He provided me with limited information and was not thorough in his explanations.

After being seen by 3 different doctors since April for the same problem, it was until I came to Dr.Bourdeaux that he has solved the cause of my problems and now I can have a peace of mind. In retrospect, the symptoms that I was experiencing was actually linked to prediabetes, which he recognized immediately.

He is the best.my appointment was @ 11. I arrived 12 minutes prior to my appointment. The check in very quick& easy.I was call in immediately that 5 min to 11. 11 :50 I was out of the office. Dr. Bourdeaux and his nurse Teresa are the most caring staff I have ever encountered. Seeing a gynecologist is uncomfortable, but Teresa and Dr. Bourdeaux put you at ease. They are extremely knowledgable and will make sure you are thoroughly taken care of and briefed on what is going on with you. The doctor and nurse even stood there and held my hand while I had to have a very painful examination by a surgeon. If you want to feel well taken care of, please look no further than this doctor. I wish they had something above 5 stars to give them!
