Recently joining his father's practice (DFW Urology Consultants) established in Texas over 30 years ago, he is excited to continue delivering renowned urologic care.

This is one of my favorite Doctor his accuracy for treatment is on point. Can't talk about price because insurance covers co pays.
His staff and he are very warm and pleasant. Very knowledgeable.
they are quick to get you in for an appointments. He listens to your problems and try to come up with a solution. I love Dr. Wayne D. Hey and would refer him to friends and family because I know he will take care of them as he his taken care of me for these past few years.

Wait times are very long at his offices. Also, poor administrative staff that seem to have antiquated (old fashioned) experience. I had a surgery performed with this office and I paid what my insurance stated I had to, however, I have received additional bills from this office that was not conveyed to me prior to surgery. I specifically asked for all costs that would be associated with up front to ensure I could afford to have my surgery.

Overall, I would say "excellent". The only negative thing is the excessive wait time. My appointment time was 4:00 pm. We arrived @ 3:45 p.m. I was called back to the examination room at 4:30 pm. (already 1/2 an hour past my appt. time). Then, it was around 45 minutes to an hour, before the doctor came in to perform my procedure. The excessive wait time definitely needs improvement. But other than that, everything went great. Dr. Wayne D. Hey, D. O. did an outstanding job with my surgery (2 weeks prior to this appointment), and an excellent job with my stent removal. The procedure was painful, but I realize that was a "necessary evil", and knowing that I was in very good hands, with the expertise of Dr. Wayne D. Hey, D.O. and his staff, made it more pleasant. He and all of his staff have wonderful "bedside manner", and believe me, I went through several doctors who were absolutely terrible before I found him. I am so thankful!

Office staff was great. Long wait due to issue with surgery; that was understandable. Doctor is to the point, which I prefer, but this day seemed too hurried and actually thankful that some people left instead of waiting any longer. Overall, he was helpful and willing to answer questions.

I thought he was very competent and listened to my concerns. His staff was very nice.
The long wait was ridiculous. I was appogized to several times but the conflicting excuses told me this is a regular event. Even if they had called and told me to come a bit later is have been happy. 2 hours is too long to sit in a waiting room.
I hold the Dr responsible ulitimatly for his scheduling procedures and correcting that. I have a follow up visit and I hope things go smoother.
