For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Hurst attended Northern Arizona University, where he worked as an emergency medical technician for Flagstaff Medical Center. He pursued his medical degree at the Dr. W.M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, and completed his residency in Dallas, working with many renowned foot and ankle, hand, orthopedic, and plastic surgeons. He keeps his practice up-to-date through continuing education.

With the exception of the long wait in the waiting room, the doctor and staff were very friendly. My only irritation is that I left work early for an appointment and ended up waiting longer than 30 minutes before I was called back. In addition, when I went up to the front desk, an older lady would not even look up at me even though I saw her notice me walking up to the window. The window is a sliding window, so it is not easy to speak to anyone unless you tap on the glass to get their attention. I really liked Dr. Hurst, he was very polite. I just wished the office would work better on scheduling.

The only reason I don't Highly Recommend is that they have televisions throughout that are tuned to the 700 Club -- probably works for 80% of their clientele - but not me.
